What is Kollect?

Kollect is the first NFT marketplace to launch on the Nervos Network. It operates similarly to a standard e-commerce platform, simplifying the buying and selling NFT process.

Steps to Mint NFT in Kollect

In this tutorial, we will see the steps to create a Kollect account and how to mint an NFT in the desktop PC version. For this tutorial, we’ll use the Chrome browser, but the instructions will be more or less the same for every platform.

Create Kollect Account

1. Open the website Kollect and click Sign Up/Log In button as highlighted.
2. Sign up with your email and password. Also, verify with the pin after the account is created.

Mint NFT

1. Now it is time to bring some $CKB to the account. Each NFT mint requires a minimum of 400 $CKB (at the time of this writing) and this can be funded in two different ways.
   • Credit Card Payment.
   • Transfer of $CKB from other exchanges/wallets.
2. If the preferred option is to transfer from other exchange/wallets then the $CKB wallet address is provided as highlighted below. Use it to fund and once the required amount of $CKB is transferred then the balance is updated.

3. Click Mint NFT button.

   

4. Update the relevant details for the NFT.

   • Title
   • Description
   • URL Link
   • NFT Image
   • NFT Sale Type - Fixed Price/Time Auction
   • Mint Start Date
   • Price of the NFT in $CKB

   

   

5. Click Sell.
